I read a lot of comments on here stating that they received fake batteries. To the best of my knowledge and my ability, I could not tell the difference between these and the others that I have received in the past. So mine, at least, appeared to be authentic. As for the product itself, the packaging sucks! My hunch is that these are packaged in this way in order to preserve the "juice" of the battery. But, I have to say, there MUST be a better way to accomplish this. The battery is next to impossible to get out! Beyond that, everything was fine to me. They last quite a long time. I would recommend this product.
